We accept this is not the most exciting part, but it is important and we would like you to read it all the way through, please.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They form an important part of the contract between Craftinsure and you.

. "We", 'Our' and "Craftinsure " refer to this company. Craftinsure is a marine insurance underwriting agency.
Insurer
The insurance is provided by Zurich Insurance plc. Registered in England & Wales No. 173444 Registered Office: The Zurich Centre, 3000 Parkway, Whiteley, Fareham, Hampshire, PO15 7JZ.
Authorisation and Service
Craftinsure Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our register number is 309693 and our permitted business is marine insurance as listed on the website at www.fca.org.uk.
UK only
Our website is directed at UK and Northern Irish residents only. The products and services described are only available to UK and Northern Irish residents. By completing a request for a quotation you confirm that you are resident in the UK or Northern Ireland and you will immediately notify us if you cease to be so resident.
The content of this site and the products and services offered by us comply with appropriate UK and Northern Irish legislation and regulation.
The parties to this contract have the right to choose the law applicable. We propose that English Law will apply. If there is a dispute as to which law applies, it shall be English Law.
Accuracy of information
The information that you provide to us must be true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief as it will be the basis of the Contract between Insurers and you. Although we may undertake checks to verify your details, it is your responsibility to ensure all information provided is accurate and complete otherwise it could invalidate your insurance and this may affect any claim.
Boats covered
We only cover privately owned UK registered boats. Your boat must be kept or moored in accordance with the territorial scope and terms of your Policy.
Your boat must be in a seaworthy condition and must not be skippered by any persons who, to your knowledge, have been refused boat insurance.
Confidentiality of information
All personal information about you will be treated as private and confidential (even when you are no longer a customer), except where the disclosure is made at your request, with your consent, in relation to
administering your insurance or where law requires us. As part of the FCA's duties, we may be asked to provide them with access to our customer records in order that they may carry out a review of our activities.
Data Protection Act
Some or all of the information you supply to us in connection with your insurance proposal will be held on computer and may be passed to other insurance companies for underwriting and claims purposes. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you have a right of access to see personal information about you that is held in our records, whether electronically or manually. If you have any queries, please write to the above address.
Notification of Claims
Please use the claims tab at www.craftinsure.com or refer to your policy document if you need to notify a claim. You should contact us as soon as possible using the contact details provided. If in doubt about whom you should contact, please contact the claims helpline 0345 2607 999.
Telephone calls
Craftinsure may record or monitor telephone calls you make to us for training purposes and with the aim of improving the service that we provide to you.
Cancellation Rights
You can cancel cover at any time within the customer login area at www.craftinsure.com. However, if you have made a claim during the currency of the Policy being cancelled then no refund is due, and if you are paying premiums monthly, you hereby agree that we may collect the balance of the annual premium outstanding.
If you cancel your policy before the end of the policy term (including during the first 14 day cooling off period), provided you have not made a claim during the current period, and the sum to be refunded exceeds Ā£25, your card will be credited with a pro rata refund based on equivalent months left to run, less incurred administration charges which will not exceed 10% of the originally collected premium. Individual monthly premiums are non refundable.
Our Fees and Charges
We reserve the right to make additional charges to cover our Administration costs. These charges are as follows:-

Adjustments to monthly policies (online free): By us £10.00
Mid term adjustments to annual policies: By us £10.00

Email communication
We will communicate with you by email, and update our site regularly. It is therefore important that you:
- check your email regularly, as we may have tried to contact you
- advise us immediately of any changes to your email address
- check our site regularly for updates and information
Payment terms
Payment of your premium is required when cover commences. By accepting these terms and conditions you authorize us to collect premiums as embodied in the paragraph 'Credit/debit card applicationā¬?. We only accept payment by certain cards online.
You may be able to spread payments monthly by clicking on the phrase 'please click here for monthly payment options' on the quote page at www.craftinsure.com but this option must be selected before cover commences. Any subsequent alteration to the payment option may incur administration and cancellation fees noted in 'Our fees and charges' above.
Credit/debit card application
I authorise you, until further notice by e-mail, to charge my credit or debit card account when payments become due. I understand shortly after the renewal date of my policy, Craftinsure will automatically apply for payment of the premium due.
Complaints procedure
We aim to provide a high standard of service that will leave you with no cause for complaint. However, if you feel we have not met the high standard you would expect of us, any enquiry or complaint regarding your policy, may be addressed to complaints@craftinsure.com or by post to the Craftinsure Limited Registered Address shown above.
If you are not satisfied with the handling of a complaint please write to the Director, Zurich Insurance plc, PO Box 848, Brighton BN1 3GQ.
In the unlikely event that we cannot resolve any difference between us, you may refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service whose address is Exchange Tower, London, E14 9SR and you can also link to their online dispute resolution service by following this link ec.europa.eu/odr.
Please note that nothing in this process will adversely affect any right of action which any party to the contract may have against Craftinsure Limited or Zurich Group.
Documentation
We may keep certain documents whilst we are awaiting full payment of premiums or charges. In these circumstances we shall provide details of your insurance cover and any documents that you require by law.
Block Transfers
We operate a block insurance arrangement in order to provide competitive terms. On occasion it may be necessary for us to transfer our portfolio of business from one insurer to another where this is beneficial for our clients.
Your placement of cover with Craftinsure and consequent agreement to these Terms & Conditions constitutes both your acceptance that we may do this and your prior request for us so to do.

Recover debt
If you owe us money we will use your personal information to help us recover it.
We can use your personal information in this way because it is a necessary part of the contract of insurance. We need to ensure that premiums are paid so that the majority of our customers do not suffer (e.g. through increased premiums) due to the actions of a small minority of customers.
