How do I renew my Policy?
30 days prior to renewal we will email your renewal premium. Your policy will automatically renew unless you cancel it.
How do I reinstate cover if my policy has lapsed?
Simply purchase a new policy.
How do I update my payment card?
Go to “Login” (top right of screen). Once logged in select “My Payment Details” (under “Your Options”) and use the buttons “Edit” and “Save” to correct the payment information
How do I update my email address or other personal details?
Go to “Login” (top right of screen). Once logged in select “My Details” (under “Your Options”) overtype the incorrect information with new and click “Save”.
Can I amend the total sum insured?
Pay monthly – yes go to existing customers, log in and edit my details.
Pay annually – go to existing customers, and cancel policy, and take out a replacement with the correct sum insured.
Can I transfer my policy to a new boat?
If it is a Racing Dinghy of the same class of the same value – yes – you can change the sail number via existing customer area.
For all other boats No – you will need to cancel policy and take out a new one for the new boat.
Can I transfer my policy to a new owner when I sell?
No – Cancel and we will refund you, and we would be delighted if you recommend us to the new owner.
Can my boat Insurance be in joint names?
Yes – go to existing customers, my details and add an additional owner.
Can I add another boat to my policy? – Multi-Boat discount?
Of course we offer a multi boat discount. Just use the same email address and you will automatically get the Multi boat discount. Tenders to Yachts and Motorboats are covered if the total value you have selected is adequate to include them.
Transit Risks covered?
Yes, for all boats up to 30ft within UK & Ireland in respect of damage to your boat, and over 30ft provided transported by a professional haulier. The third party aspect is covered by your motor policy.
