Alan is the CEO of Craftinsure and a Chartered Insurer (ACII) with over two decades of experience shaping the UK insurance landscape. With a year dedicated to the marine insurance sector, Alan brings a sharp focus on innovation and customer value to the specialist insurance offered through Craftinsure.

Throughout his career, Alan has held senior roles at leading insurers including Hiscox and Simply Business, where he led the development of new products, introduced cyber insurance to the UK market, and helped scale services to over one million customers. His leadership was instrumental in guiding Simply Business to become one of the UK’s first major B-Corps.

Alan’s approach at Craftinsure is grounded in understanding the unique insurance requirements of boat owners and watercraft enthusiasts. He’s committed to helping Craftinsure continue to deliver straightforward cover to new and longstanding customers.
