Making a Claim
If you wish to make a claim under your insurance policy, please notify the claims team of any incident or loss as soon as reasonably practicable. Contact information can be found within your Insurance Booklet and below.
Please ensure that you read through all claims conditions which are detailed within your Insurance Booklet, as these form part of your contract of insurance. If you do not, a claim may be rejected, or payment could be reduced, or your policy might be invalid.
Before making a claim, please review your Insurance Schedule to confirm that you have the appropriate insurance in place to cover the claim.
Claims under certain sections of your policy may be subject to an excess. This means that if your claim is successful, you will be responsible for paying part of the claim, or a specified amount of time will be deducted from the claim settlement calculation. Please refer to your Insurance Schedule/Booklet for details of any excesses and single article limits which may apply.
The claims service is provided by specialist claims handlers at Navigators and General. You can notify your claim by simply going on-line, or by email, phone or post as detailed below.
Should you have Marine Legal Protection cover and you wish to make a claim against this insurance, please refer to your separate Insurance Booklet for claim contact information.
